COMMUNITY safety will be high on the agenda for police next month.
Officers will be involved in a number of local programs to promote community safety, including an information session at Pakenham shopping centres.
On Saturday, 10 October, police and crime prevention officers will attend information stands at Heritage Springs Shopping Centre in McGregor Road and Pakenham Place in John Street.
Police will have community safety information on hand and will chat to residents and provide advice about how they can stay safe.
This event is part of Community Safety Month and is supported by Neighbourhood Watch, Cardinia Shire and Victoria Police.
