LOCAL lads have pulled off two consecutive wins at the Deni Ute Musters “Grunt Off”.
The boys from Pakenham and Nar Nar Goon vastly improved on their previous time to pull a ute from one area to another in 11.25 seconds.
But they didn’t win without a fight. A dead heat in the final with a rival ute pulling team led to a sudden death match, with the local boys winning in exciting fashion.
It wasn’t only the boys to come up with the goods. Local ladies, who must have been watching the boys the previous year, also came first with a time of 14.38 seconds.
