A BENEFIT concert to raise money for the CFA in the lead up to the bushfire season will be held at the Pakenham Hotel in November.
Organised by High Energy Events and Entertainment, the event will feature eight bands including Riff Raff, Roadhog, Andrew Swift and Joel Spence.
Others set to play are Blown 57, The Longhorns, 79 Revisited and Lincoln Le Fevre, from Tasmania. Local businesses have donated a number of items and vouchers that will be raffled or auctioned off on the day.
Children have not been forgotten with face painting and jumping castle to keep them entertained. The benefit concert will be held on Sunday 1 November from 2.30pm at the Pakenham Hotel. For details, contact Sean Powell on 0409 047 044.
