FIREWORKS, face painting and fairy floss will mark the spectacular opening of Pakenham’s Bunnings Warehouse this week.
Kicking the celebrations off on Friday, 6 November from 8pm Bunnings will hold a fireworks display with festivities continuing throughout the week.
On Thursday, 12 November at 9am, former Hawthorn and Carlton Football Club coach David Parkin will officially open the store.
Pakenham manager Clair Lee said that 50 local residents would be part of the Bunnings team – an important aspect of the new store.
The new Warehouse, which is more than 11,700 square metres, has more than 330 car parks and will assist local charity organisations and community groups to raise funds for a variety of causes by hosting sausage sizzles from time to time.
Bunnings Warehouse Pakenham is located at 855 Princes Highway, Pakenham.
