ON Saturday 19 March we had our show to celebrate 100 years of the Pakenham and District Agricultural and Horticultural Society.
I hope all of the previous committee members and anyone connected with the society and public are proud of what was achieved.
The weather was perfect, the crowd was there in abundance, with many new faces from all the new areas of a once country town.
I would like to thank all the stewards and people who helped put on a most wonderful display in the pavilion, numbers of entries were very good and the quality was right up there with the best the people could make or grow.
Congratulations to our president Gavan Bourke and secretary Des Wynne for leading us into this 100th show.
