JUNIORS from Waverley and Baw Baw – and everywhere in between – competed in a graded singles tournament at the Pakenham Regional Tennis Centre on Sunday.
Pakenham’s Steve Fitton beat Travis Fitton 8-5 to win the A Grade, Hampton Park’s Samuel Hae Hae downed clubmate Stephan Mikhail 8-4 in B Grade while Joel Motta of Nar Nar Goon beat Ashley Mikhail of Hampton Park 8-5 to take C Grade.
Junior graded singles tournaments on Sundays are held regularly at the PRTC.
The next tournament is an age-group event for juniors between 18 and 21 April. There will also be a coaching clinic between next Monday and Wednesday.
