THE Cora Lynn Junior Cobras created history on Sunday when they fielded their first under-11 team.
There are now two teams based at Upper Pakenham with the under-9s building on all the hard work from 2010.
Coaches Anthony Stevens (under-9) and Jay Hanks (under-11) were delighted with their teams’ first game with both playing well and having fun.
“The atmosphere at Upper Pakenham was fantastic, with all parents enjoying the spectacle at the picturesque ground,” said Cora Lynn Football Club president Andrew Bergmeier.
“Thanks to all the volunteers who erected the new scoreboard and prepared the ground,” he said.
