THREE Casey athletes had their efforts rewarded by the City of Casey on Monday night, with grants awarded to aid their travel and accommodation costs for sports events.
Isabella Hohaus of Pakenham had her selection rewarded with a $500 grant to help her represent Victoria in the under-17 Australasian badminton championships in New Zealand.
Upper Beaconsfield’s Letitia Sindt received a $250 grant after her selection in the Australian national junior women’s volleyball team. She will travel to Thailand in April.
And Steve Comerford of Beaconsfield was given $200 to assist him in representing his state at the Masters Indoor Cricket National Championships, to be held in Brisbane next month.
