DO YOU have a special recipe that you think will knock everyone else’s out of the water?
Enter it in the Pakenham Hotel’s Master Chef Competition and let everyone else be the judge.
With the popularity of such shows as Ready Steady Cook and My Kitchen Rules, there’s bound to be a closet Master Chef in town.
If your recipe is selected to be in the top 12 you automatically win a $40 meal voucher and the chefs will cook your dish for everyone to enjoy.
Your name and photograph will be displayed on the board next to your pride and joy and the winning recipe, as voted by diners, will win a fantastic prize.
Pakenham Hotel owner Brendan Theobald said the selected dishes would run for two weeks each and the competition would run for six months all up.
“During that two-week period you need to talk to your family and friends and encourage them to come down and try your dish,” he said.
“Get your friends to vote for you, and the dish that gets the most votes in the two-week period wins a $300 Christmas function dinner to be enjoyed in December this year.”
