What’s on

Free spring workshops at Pakenham and Emerald Libraries Cardinia Shire Council and Casey Cardinia Libraries have partnered to host four free workshops throughout September and November to help residents learn about a range of waste and environment topics. The workshops, held at Pakenham and Emerald libraries, will tackle practical topics, and provide core skills to attendees to use at home, including how to start a worm farm, ways to conserve and use water to maintain a healthy and productive home garden, how to reduce food waste and save on grocery bills and how to identify and control weeds safely at home. Places in each workshop are limited and registration for each event is required. Head to cclc.vic.gov.au for more information. 3 September, 5 November, 12 November, 26 November
