Winning Feaver

GAVAN Feaver won his second monthly medal at the Drouin Golf Club on Saturday, in which nearly 100 players took to the course for the stroke event.
Feaver (26) finished with a fantastic round of 63 nett.
The A Grade winner was Leon Cook (2) with a 69 nett, with Brad Bennett runner-up on 70 nett.
Graeme Barnes (20) took out B Grade with a score of 64 nett, Jason Wilkinson being runner-up with 68 nett on a countback from Rob Juratowitch. Feaver won C Grade over Phil Edwards, on 68 nett.
Down-the-line balls went to 72 on a countback. Nearest-the-pins were won by Stuart Low (fifth), Feaver (eighth), Jason Stirzaker (19th) and the pro pin went to Geoff Thomas (23rd).
The ladies winner was Peg Hocking (24) with a nett score of 74.

Wednesday’s stableford had 95 players and the A Grade winner was Darryl Bryce (14) with 41 nett, ahead of Graeme Austin 39 nett.
B Grade was taken out by Michael Waring (25) with 40 nett on a countback from Robert Woodard.
In C Grade, the victor was Wayne Duckett (31) on 37 nett and runner-up was Merv Peel (32) with 35 nett.
Balls-down-the-line went to 35 on a countback, while nearest-the-pin went to Graeme Barnes (fifth), Bob Ramage (eighth) and Danny Gorman (19th), while David Ferguson took the pro pin (23rd).
