Was Arrow straight?

A POST-RACE urine sample taken at Pakenham on Tuesday, 17 May has led to a charge being laid against leading gallops trainer, Peter Moody.
Racing Victoria stewards issued the charge, which pertains to Moody bringing Lethal Arrow to Pakenham to compete in the Schweppes 0-68 Handicap (1300m) with a prohibitive substance in its system.
The horse won the race.
Analysis of a post race urine sample detected the prohibitive substance Oripavine, which is an opioid narcotic analgesic substance which may act as a stimulant in a horse.
The charge issued against Moody will be heard before the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary (RAD) Board at a date to be fixed.
Racing Victoria stewards also noted that this is the only current investigation pertaining to Moody and his stable.
