EVER wondered what your councillors do between their briefing session and council meeting?
They take guesses on how long the meeting will go for.
This week councillor Ed Chatwin collected the guesses from his colleagues. Some differed greatly, while others picked exactly the same time.
Councillors Collin Ross, Brett Owen and George Blenkhorn guessed 40 minutes, Graeme Moore 50 minutes and Graeme Legge 44 minutes.
The winner? It’s hard to say. The meeting went for only 40 minutes, so technically councillors Ross, Owen and Blenkhorn would be correct.
But with the additional special meeting held straight after, which went for 20 minutes, it would seem Cr Moore was the closest.
