REGISTRATIONS for the 2011 Early Years Conference on Friday 21 October are now open.
The program, which is being coordinated by the Cardinia Shire Council, will feature a variety of speakers discussing how to create a child-friendly city.
Keynote speakers at the Cardinia Cultural Centre event include early childhood learning expert Pam Cahir community planning lecturer at La Trobe University Julie Rudner, and author David Engwicht.
Cardinia Shire Council’s Community Services Manager Pam Martin has described the event as focussed on creating a more child-friendly local community.
“The conference will play an important role in helping local early years professionals think about how the area is providing for the needs of its people, especially children.
“Our three fantastic speakers will explore the best ways to create child-friendly communities.”
