Hope for PMP site

THE former PMP printing distribution site in Kooweerup will be on the market within two weeks.
Realtor Paul Sutherland from Sutherland Farrelly Real Estate confirmed that the site would be up for sale and that he was waiting for the “go ahead”.
“It will be up for tender in the next one to two weeks, once I get the go ahead,” he said.
Earlier this year, the site was taken over by the Westpac Banking Corporation after the owner defaulted on repayments.
The unused and vacant site, at 9-15 Station Street, is an eyesore for the township.
Councillor Stuart Halligan said that he hoped the site would be sold off and finally be used.
“It could become a really attractive part of town,” he said.
