Fete plays a part at kinder

CHRISTMAS is coming early to Pakenham Kinder with the pre-school’s monster fete set for Friday (2 December).
The fete will start at 4pm in the kinder on Main Street and feature lots of stalls offering quality Christmas goodies and other items.
And a jumping castle and mobile animal farm are sure to keep youngsters entertained.
Andrea Cooper, spokeswoman for the fete committee, said there would be a silent auction with some terrific items available, a spinning wheel packed with prizes, face painting and live music.
Clowns will mingle with the crowd, a barbecue dinner will be available and there will be Devonshire tea and lots of games and activities.
Santa is expected to make an appearance between 5 and 6pm.
Andrea encouraged children to dress as their favourite super hero, or another character, and try to win a prize for the best dressed.
“It’s going to be a really big night, everyone’s looking forward to it,” she said.
“We’ve had great support and sponsorship from businesses and in the local community so we urge everybody to come along and have a great time.”
