Chef Gabriel Gate in the Renault Clio Sport with Ian Baird and Shaun Donaldson from Barry Bourke Renault.Left: The cooking sensation with young Diesel, who helped him cook crepes.THERE was a decidedly French feel at the Berwick Renault last week when international chef Gabriel Gate popped in for a visit.
The French cooking sensation showed off his award winning style and passed on some tips in a cooking demonstration.
Gabriel created a prawn summer salad and a raspberry crepe to show the 50 guests at Barry Bourke Renault how the professionals do it.
He also talked about his Le Tour cookbook and his television appearances during the Tour de France.
Cars took a back seat except when Gabriel told guests about his first car, which was a Renault, of course.
The chef was in town to promote Renault.
