CONGRATULATIONS must firstly go to Eric Wilson on his first hole-in-one on the sixth hole at Cardinia Beaconhills last Thursday.
A free round of drinks was enjoyed by all in the club house.
Saturday saw the December Monthly Medal up for grabs. More than 150 players took to the course and it was Paul Stevenson (17) from B Grade who broke 80 to win the medal with a nett 62.
Trevor Ball shot a 72 off a handicap of eight to win A Grade with a nett 64. Chris Rann (23) also left nothing in the tank, winning C Grade with a nett 65.
David Crowe had the best gross score of the day with 72 on a count back.
The 2011 Mixed Foursomes Championships were played on Sunday with Andrew Conn and Laura Griffin winning the title after returning the best gross score of 79.
Brian Meneilly and Amber Griffin were runners-up with a gross score of 85. James Coughlin and Ashley Cooper had the best nett score with 70.5 and the nett runners-up went to David and Sarah French with 71.

Ross Brown was the winner of Sunday’s Par competition. Playing off a handicap of 16 he returned a score of +4.

Tuesday’s Stableford competition saw David Moseley (13) win A Grade with 41 points. John Barker (18) won B Grade with 39 points.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:WEDNESDAY

The ladies nine hole Stableford competition was won by Robin Lafferty, playing off a handicap of 32, Robyn had the best score with 20 points.
Leigh Jeffs had the best nett score in the Wednesday Twilight comp with 31, Brian Meneilly had the best gross with 35, the least putts was won by Paul Rubens with 12.

A Grade player Phil Read (11) won Thursdays Stableford competition with 39 points and Peter Trenerry (21) won B Grade with 41 points. As mentioned earlier, the highlight of the day was Eric Wilson’s hole-in-one on the sixth hole.
