LADIES club champion at Garfield is again Rosemary Shaw who defeated Beverley Sainsbery in a hard fought final.
The entries on the club’s honours board will be identical to those of last year when Rose and Bev were also winner and runner-up.
Rose’s strong commitment to bowling has been to the fore this season, being runner-up in the West Gippsland over 60s tournament and recently representing Garfield’s Division 2 Saturday Pennant team as well as skipping a side in the Garfield Ladies’ Tuesday Pennant team. She has also just completed an umpire’s course.
Rose will now compete in the Champion of Champions Tournament and best wishes of Garfield members go with her.
