THE Gazette would like to clarify a story printed on 1 February regarding an Auditor General’s Report into contaminated sites in Victoria.
The report took a broad swipe at councils in general, but Cardinia was not specifically targeted.
The former Nar Nar Goon landfill was also not specifically mentioned in the report.
The council has consistently met the standards set out by the EPA.
