Beaver vies for Olympic glory

CASEY TigerSharks backstroke swimmer Josh Beaver heads over to Adelaide this week to find out if he will become an Olympian.
Beaver, 18, from Tooradin, won the 200m backstroke at the NSW State Open Championships to stake his Olympic claims after he defeated 2008 Olympic representative Ash Delaney in the event.
The Australia Swimming Championships, which run from 15-22 March, are the final step in the qualification process for Beaver and 10 other TigerSharks representatives.
Ellie Cole, the triple Paralympic medallist in Beijing, will aim to qualify in six events.
