By Lilly O’Gorman
HER husband may jokingly refer to her genre as ‘sex in the bush’ but readers Australia-wide know there is much more to Margareta Osborn’s novels.
The Victorian author signed copies of her debut novel, Bella’s Run, at Berwick Mechanics Institute and Free Library in conjunction with Collins Berwick, on Thursday 8 March.
Ms Osborn said she wanted her novel to be “bursting with a love for life on the land”.
“The theme of friendship is what I wanted to show and finding that sense of place,” she said.
And since it’s launch this month, readers haven’t taken long to connect to her message.
They have propelled the book to number two on the iTunes ebook chart and number 13 on the Australian fiction bestseller list.
