It all comes out in the wash

THE ‘culprit’ in a recent Emerald burglary has been discovered.
A woman, who thought a thief had broken in through her bedroom window in the middle of the night, recently found her misplaced items.
Her purse and digital camera had been left in a washing basket.
Police thanked the woman and asked anyone in similar situations to tell police the truth to avoid unnecessary police work.

THE Guide Hall in Pakenham was vandalised on the weekend.
Windows were smashed at the Henry Street hall between 6pm on Saturday and 10am on Sunday.
Police said offenders threw a small chair through the window.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Pakenham Police on 5941 1033.

A NARRE Warren man, 29, was questioned after a routine patrol of the Safeway car park in Pakenham on 1 February.
Police charged a man with possession of cannabis, and he was bailed to appear before Dandenong Magistrates’ Court on 10 March.
