Berwick set for a musical night

BERWICK and District Folk Club (BADFOLK) will feature the multiinstrumentalists and singers James Rigby and Jane Thompson at the Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick on Friday, 17 February.
The doors open at 7.30pm, music starts at 8pm, and admission is $10.
This is an irrepressible duo well known as members of nationallyacclaimed folk band Blackwood.
They are noted for James’ notoriety as an Ugly Uncle whom he prefers to keep under his hat and for their singing work with community choirs.
In this special appearance as a duo, they will present some of their favourite songs, as well as a few originals, which they have been cooking up in their Maldon kitchen.
Guests may also hear the sweet family harmonies of their three daughters.
Jane is a multiaward winner for song writing and they have just returned from a tour of New Zealand in late 2005. This will be acoustic music at it’s best.
