MP to award footy prizes

THE Western Bulldogs has given Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato two full year membership packages as prizes for two lucky Bulldog supporters.
The packs contain free entry to at least 11 home games and a range of goodies.
Ms Lobato is calling for nominations from the Gembrook electorate to recognise outstanding volunteer contributions.
She has purchased another Western Bulldogs adult membership package to donate along with the two from the Bulldogs Football Club.
“I am asking for people to nominate someone they know in the community, such as a volunteer with one of our many community groups, who would appreciate the opportunity of attending some live football matches this year.
“The membership packages include free adult entry to 11 Western Bulldogs home games plus quarterly editions of the club magazine, entry to all post match functions, and discounts on merchandise purchases.
“A cap, key ring, sticker sheet and magnet are also included,” she said.
“I commend the Western Bulldogs on this initiative that is a genuine gesture of goodwill to the community and I was delighted to match their generosity by also purchasing a membership to donate.
“There are so many people out there who do so much for others in the community.
“Now is the chance they can receive a bit of recognition for what they do.
“People need to email me or write to me with the name and contact details of the person they are nominating, along with a short explanation of why that person deserves this footy membership.
“Winners will be drawn out of a hat on Tuesday, 28 March, in time for winners to attend the first Bulldogs home game on Friday, 31 March at the Telstra Dome,” Ms Lobato said.
Nominations should be emailed to tammy.lobatoparliament.vic.gov.au or sent to her office at 1/5 Gloucester Avenue, Berwick, 3806.
