Drouin v Garfield

Garfield: The Stars have unearthed some versatility in attack after coach Ben Soumilas persisted with a youth policy. Beau Runnalls and former Pakenham player Brett Reid have added scoring options to the Stars.
Drouin: The Hawks must run, run and run and then start running! While Garfield has the edge in ability, Drouin’s strength is its persistence and pace.

Garfield: The Stars’ inform midfield including Shaun Pickering, Ben Marsh, Shane Reid and Ryan Munro has the class to dominate the Hawks this week.
Drouin: The key to Drouin’s attack is full forward Brent Mounsey, who has been carrying a leg injury. If he can hit some form then the Hawks might be able to muster some system in their forward half.

Garfield: Who will step up to fill the role of injured key Matt Cunningham? Cunningham is dangerous in attack and around the ground and his absence will leave a big hole.
Drouin: Which end of the ground will Drouin key Jordan Edwards be forced to play this week? The key defender was switched forward last week but can’t be in two places at once.

Garfield: Has to be Mal McKenna. McKenna has regularly put the icing on the cake of big wins for Garfield in the past and could do so again.
Drouin: The return of supertalented midfielder David Olsen. If Olsen comes back on top he could force Garfield in to a defensive mind set and that would give the Hawks a chance.

On face value of last week’s results there is 280 points between these two sides. Garfield will make it two in a row with ease.
