Art of the matter

NOTED pastel artist Barbara McManus will be guest artist at the Berwick Artists Society at 7pm on Wednesday 24 August.
Ms McManus is known for her ability to impart her knowledge of composition as she demonstrates her work, tonal values, form, colour and pastel techniques.
She comes from a family of artists and musicians, both professional and amateur, and developed a love for art at an early age.
She has won more than 50 awards, including the coveted Alice Bale overseas scholarship.
The meeting will be at the Old Cheese Factory, Homestead Road, Berwick.
