Good company with Salvos

PAKENHAM’S 30plus age group is in for a treat next week with the Salvation Army holding its monthly companion club day.
A range of activities, games, guestspeakers and demonstrations are planned for participants, along with an exciting daytime trip scheduled for later in the year.
Members are welcome to bring a friend and are asked to provide a plate of food and stay for a sociable lunch. A gold coin donation for each session and a $4 annual membership fee is payable on the day.
Companion club coordinator Danielle Williamson said anyone above the age of 30 is encouraged to attend the activities, which will be staged in a warm and friendly environment.
The companion club will meet next Wednesday 2 August at the Salvation Army centre at 51 Bald Hill Rd, Pakenham.
The fun starts at 10.30am and anyone wanting more information can contact Irene on 5941 4906.
