WITH Pakenham Netball Club’s Agrade team having a bye, all other grades starred with strong wins against Doveton on Saturday.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz:B GRADE

Pakenham worked hard, consistently and maintained its focus for four quarters.
The team congratulated Doveton on its improvement.
Scores: Pakenham 83 d Doveton 19.
Awards: Gold’nChezz Teneille Atwell; Dominoes Jacquie Dwyer.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: C GRADE

With some players unavailable and out of position, Pakenham faced a tight game.
With great teamwork and talk, the winning margin of 10 goals was a great effort.
Scores: Pakenham 37 d Doveton 27.
Awards: Cactus Black Laura Christie; Gold’nChezz Nat Horua.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 17 AND UNDER

Pakenham was short of several players and this gave the chance for 15 and under’s Carleen Johnson to take the court.
With new combinations, Pakenham proved it could still play great team netball.
Meaghan Cook and Carleen Johnson worked well together in the centre court, with Bianca Withers creating many turnovers.
The goalers were on target and the defence was strong, helping Pakenham to a strong win.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 15 AND UNDER

Pakenham started well with a fivegoal lead in the first quarter.
The girls worked hard and adjusted well to Doveton’s pressure, combined well as a team and won the game with a consistent four quarters of netball.
Scores: Pakenham 32 d Doveton 27.
Awards: Jess Russell, Nat Horua and Laura Christie.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: 13 AND UNDER

Hard work at training paid off in what was Pakenham’s best game of the season, with accurate passing and solid leading.
Sophie Tracey was awarded best on court for her exceptional efforts in goal defence.
Rebecca Christie and Tahlia Groh worked well in goals.
Scores: Pakenham 35 d Doveton 19.
