Grizzly power takes on

THE Grizzly 550 is a middleweight utility ATV which incorporates most of the advanced riding technology features of Yamaha’s most powerful ATV, and is powered by a compact 558cc four stroke single engine.
Yamaha Grizzly 550 EPS 4 x 4 auto is available at Christensen’s Motorcycles.
It’s four-valve engine has a new crankshaft for smoother running, new cylinder head with longreach spark plug, which means easy starting, and EFI fuel injection for lower fuel consumption and better emissions.
The three-position push button on command drive system offers a choice of 2WD, 4WD or 4WD with differential lock and a fully automatic ultramatic transmission which makes forward movement both controllable and simple.
The all-round double-wishbone independent suspension helps the wheels stick and all wheel disc brakes feature with shaft drive for ultimate user friendliness.
The electronic power steering, throttle control and transmission shift lever make using this vehicle less stressful. A digital instrumentation pod provides a full rundown of speed, engine hours, fuel, transmission status and includes a double trip meter.
A 20-litre fuel tank under a redesigned seat gives the Grizzly even better ergonomics.
Cargo racks, front and rear join a big range of optional accessories which include bulldozer blades, power winches, skid plates and brush guards which make this ATV stand out in its class.
This ATV and others from the Yamaha range are available from Christensen’s Motorcycles, 177 Queen Street, Warragul. Call 5623 2173 or see the team at sites 348-351 and 422-425 at Farm World.
