Presidential paces ahead

TALENTED pacing mare La Presidential continued on her winning way at Cranbourne last Wednesday night.
After an impressive return to racing at Warragul on October 20, La Presidential finished too powerfully for her rivals to win by around half a length.
Although she hasn’t won by a great space in her two victories since returning to racing, a win is still a win and hopefully there will be more in store for the fiveyearold.
Jodi Quinlan was again in the sulky on Wednesday night for Garfield trainer Brendan Fawkner.
Also last Wednesday night, local horse Bullantic won its second race in succession. The Lee Evison trained fouryearold won at the two consecutive Wednesday night meetings at Cranbourne.
Both La Presidential and Bullantic are in good form at present and hopefully both will appear at the next Warragul meeting on Thursday, November 23.
Meanwhile, Gippsland trotter Pepperell Dancer won his first Melbourne race at Moonee Valley on Saturday night.
After leading throughout for trainerdriver Daryl Woolcock, Pepperell Dancer scored his third win in succession and his seventh win for the year.
