Ford fires at Berwick Montuna

BERWICK Montuna Golf Club’s par competition held on 25 November was won by Louise Ford (20) with a wonderful + 5, reducing her handicap to 18.
On Sunday, 26 November there was a golf trip to Heyfield with Pakenham’s team winning the shield from Heyfield and Berwick Montuna’s Maureen Dean and Wendy Parkinson with 35 points.
Monday saw many district clubs competing at Beaconhills in an appreciation day for Mornington Peninsula District Women’s Golf.
The winning club was Mt Martha with 77 points from Mornington with 76 and Berwick Montuna with 74 points.
On Wednesday 29 November the trophy winner for the Stableford competition and Bgrade winner, was Denise Todd (28) with 38 points.
Agrade was won by Bev McIntyre (26) with 36 and nearestthepin winners were Glenda Gorton (fourth), Hilary Wilson (ninth), Fay Ulph (13th) and Rita Waugh (18th).
