THE Rotary Club of Berwick has invited expressions of interest from people who want to get involved in forming a Probus club at Beaconsfield.
Rotarian John Blyth said there were five Probus clubs in Berwick and a growing population in Beaconsfield with many people who might be interested in becoming involved.
A meeting to gauge interest will be held in the Beaconsfield Community Centre, O’Neil Road, at 10am on Wednesday, 21 February.
Probus provides an association for retired and semiretired professional and business people. Members meet monthly for fellowship, morning tea, a short business session and to hear guest speakers.
Visits are arranged to places and organisations of interest. Further information is available from John Blyth on 9707 1324 or Fred McCubbin on 9704 6550.
