Cardinia Shire Council participation and access worker Leonie Olsen said 13 young people aged from 10 to 16 years old joined in the skate workshop led by instructor Sally Clark from the Riverside YMCA.
In the afternoon three teenagers went through their paces in a BMX workshop with Live It BMX instructors.

“Sally taught them how to stand properly on their boards and by the end of the session they were on the ramps.”
