Burr’s five wickets not enough for Cobras

WITH their Agrade game reduced to 69 overs per side, Merinda Park didn’t have the best of conditions with the ground a lot quicker than the previous week.
The Cobras needed a good bowling and fielding performance, but unfortunately Kooweerup amassed 9/420.
Anthony Burr bowled well to claim his first fivewicket haul at the senior level.
His figures didn’t do him justice, with 5/110 from 12 overs.
New player Clayton Riddle also did well to claim 2/50 from 12 overs to follow his 90 not out with the bat.
Jarrod Armitage and Jess Mathers were the other wicket takers for Merinda Park with one each.
