COCKATOO Primary School has welcomed a new teacher to its ranks this year.
Meagan Bradbury is teaching grade two and is excited by her first teaching appointment.
Acting principal Barb Kewish said Miss Bradbury had settled in well.
“She is extremely enthusiastic, relates very well to the children and is doing a wonderful job,” she said. As for Miss Bradbury, 22, she said she had always wanted to teach and that so far the job had exceeded expectations.
“I love it here,” she said. “The staff have been fantastic, they’ve made it really easy to settle in,” she said.
“The kids are great as well.”
