Best under17 bowling figures were by Cardinia’s P. Monckton, who snared 4/18 from eight overs.

UNDER 15

Scores were tied at the end of the under 15 game between PUT Yabbies and the Beacy Eagles.
Many players scored 30 or better, while Catani’s Ben Ahern reached 45. Tom Marks (Officer) and A. Krishana (Beacy Minors) both scored halfcenturies.

Jason Pongracic scored a superb 82 notout from 56 balls (an innings that included a six and 11 fours) and Simon Spencer stroked nine boundaries when he reached an undefeated 57 from 40 deliveries.
The best feature of the game for the hapless young Bulls was the magnificent catch taken by Jeremy Monckton.
The best bowers at under13 level were the Beacy Tigers’ Mitch Johnson (4/8 from three overs) and Anthony Bradwell from the Nar Nar Goon Whites who snared 4/10 from three overs.
