A SEARCH for six young people in Bunyip State Park ended successfully when they were found safe and well.
The alarm was raised after the young people’s 4WD vehicle became stuck on the edge of a road in the park last Wednesday.
Pakenham Road Rescue Unit members spent a few hours searching for the missing youngsters.
Emerald and Pakenham State Emergency Service members joined Nar Nar Goon and Gembrook CFA units in recovering the vehicle and bringing the young people to safety.
“They were very glad when help arrived,” Pakenham SES spokesman Steve Monro said.
