VETERANS Affairs residents at Bunyip’s Hillview Aged Care hostel will be extra warm this winter, thanks to the generosity of the RSL Women’s Council of Victoria.
Berwick resident Judy Murdoch last week visited the facility to donate knee rugs to the residents on behalf of the council.
The blankets were knitted by members of the RSL ladies’ auxiliary from Chelsea, Dandenong and Boort.
Each of the hostel’s nine Veterans Affairs residents received a blanket.
