FERNLEA House at Emerald has been granted $4000 under the Victorian Government’s Volunteers Small Grants program.
Fernlea House will be able to run its own volunteer training program with the grant.
Gembrook MP Tammy Lobato welcomed the funding, saying that the grant would enable Fernlea House to conduct an advertising campaign to recruit new volunteers.
“It is important that a range of people with diverse backgrounds are involved in volunteering in the community, and this grant will enable the volunteer base to grow,” she said.
