PROMINENT barrister and former president of the Fitzroy Football Club, Dyson HoreLacy QC, will be guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Narre Warren annual business dinner on Wednesday, 18 October.
Mr HoreLacy has been a prominent barrister for many years and has been involved in many controversial cases.
He was the last president of the VFL Fitzroy Football Club prior to its merger with Brisbane to form the Brisbane Lions.
He is well known for his work with indigenous people, and as an author.
The Rotary Club of Narre Warren’s annual business dinner is a major part of its vocational service program each year.
The dinner will be at 7pm on Wednesday 18 October at the Taverner Hotel Fountain Gate in the Westfield Fountain Gate Shopping Centre Narre Warren.
The cost is $35 with part of the proceeds from the evening going to Autism Behaviour Intervention Association, a cause that is supported by Mr HoreLacey.
