Cougar hits a 100

AN impressive 112 by Clyde Agrade’s Jarrod Leontini helped his team to 285 against Cardinia on Saturday.
It was Leontini’s first 100 in Agrade.
Clyde was supposed to host Cardinia on turf, but due to the inclement weather the match was transferred to Lineham Oval.
Cardinia won the toss and sent the Cougars into bat. The Cougars lost an early wicket, but then the inform Leontini joined Callum O’Hare and they built a 62run partnership.
O’Hare was dismissed for 28 and then Shane Jack continued to push runs with Leontini contributing 26 in an 84run stand.
Noel O’Brien hit 16 and Dave Denton 14 before Leontini was dismissed. His innings included 17 fours and a six.
Clyde lost a few quick wickets and was struggling at 7/215 before Mick McGuinness stabilised the innings with a patient 32 notout with Daniel Waite making 21 late in the innings.
Nick Miles (12 not out) then came out and hit a six and a four in his Agrade debut.

Playing Pakenham, Clyde lost the toss and bowled first.
Daven Johnston got the Cougars off to a great start taking the first four wickets of the game.
Bun O’Hare then took two quick wickets and Clyde was in control of the game with the Lions at 6/47.
Pakenham bat Dave Selby then made the most of some dropped catches and played a swashbuckling innings of 81 to rescue the Lions innings.
Johnston came back into the attack to take his fifth wicket and finish the day with impressive figures of 5/41 from 18 overs.
O’Hare took his third to take 3/53 from 19 and then Mick Bain took the last two wickets of the match in consecutive balls to finish with 2/12.
The Lions were finally dismissed for 199 and Clyde had to see of 12 overs. Glen Tuckwell is 13 not out and Tom Sinnema 7 not out and the Cougars are 0/24 at stumps.

@BT Sub Sport Gaz: UNDER 17

Clyde hosted Beaconsfield and bowled first.
The Tiger bats made the most of tough bowling conditions and blasted their way to 5/200 from their 40 overs.
Shane Hook picked up 2/21 from his six overs and James Denton and Dylan Hadfield took a wicket each.

Clyde played Tooradin and batted well to make 6/132.
Joel Avard again batted well to make 33 retired, Nick Sadler 23, Mitch Kemp 21 and Corey Brasher 11 not out.

Clyde played Devon Meadows and batted first making 82.
Chris Basset top scored with 17, Josh Brown made 14 and Dean Fogarty 12.
Devon Meadows then passed the target making 4/106 with the Cougar bowlers of Ethan McLean, Lachy Walden, Chris Basset and Dean Fogarty taking one wicket each.
