CUTS to train and bus fares would make public transport cheaper for locals, Bass ALP candidate John Anderson said last week.
Mr Anderson said the State Government’s decision to reduce V/Line fares by an average of 20 per cent would save those travelling from Nar Nar Goon, Bunyip, Tynong and Garfield up to $4.30 on a return fare to Melbourne.
