The Goon led from start to finish but had to dig deep and hold on to its onepoint lead for the last five minutes to earn the flag.
Goon ruckman Wil Evans was voted best on ground and wingman Bryce Henzen, onballers Jordan Payroli and Joey Murphy, forward Nicholas Bransgrove and defender Joey Sweeney all came under notice in a good team effort over a valiant Neerim Neerim South.
