TOM Hafey reckons every day is a great day.
“If you don’t believe me, try missing one,” he said.
Mr Hafey, AFL legend and famous fitness fanatic, paid a visit to Lang Lang Primary School on Monday.
He spoke to students and about 50 parents who turned up to see the man who, in his 70s, still works out every day.
Lang Lang assistant principal Michael Smythe said the school community was thrilled to have had Mr Hafey visit.
“He is a top bloke and was good value,” Mr Smythe said.
“He is a very passionate speaker.
“He spoke to the kids about commitment, persistence and team work.
“We had about 50 parents turn up as well,” Mr Smythe said.
“He does over 200 press ups and 600 sit ups as well as a daily five kilometre run and a swim.”
