FUN for children of all ages during the school holidays has been planned in the City of Casey.
Casey director community services Jennie Lee said the teenage school holiday program continued to be popular for students 13 and over.
Ms Lee said new activities included Mountain Bike Riding at Point Nepean, a Hip Hop Dance day, and acting workshop as well as past favourites such as jewellery making and indoor sports.
“Activities are fully supervised, alcohol and drug free and, unless specified, include travel to and from the venues.
“Primary school children are also included in the fun this spring.
“Parents can find out what’s available for younger children in the September edition of the Casey School Holidays Events and Activities Directory, which lists a range of activities and programs.
One of the highlights for children aged six to 10 will be the new Junior Bunyip naturebased activity ‘Making a Splash’ at Wilson Botanic Park in Berwick.”
Ms Lee said the best way to ensure a great school holiday was be organised early.
