Meadows no match for Tooradin

DEVON Meadows netballers ran into talented Tooradin sides on Saturday and despite good games from all girls, were unable to come away with a victory on the day.
A grade
The Agrade side had a couple of new inclusions this week and all girls were ready for a hard game against Tooradin. The first quarter was Devon Meadows best and they held a twogoal lead at quarter time.
Tooradin was too strong in the end and came away to win by 25 goals.
Scores: Devon Meadows 38 lost to Tooradin 63.
B grade
The girls were well rested after a week off and together with a few changes, were prepared for a hard game against Tooradin.
The Bgrade girls did well and were happy their effort in a game that saw them take on a much stronger opponent.
Scores: Devon Meadows 21 lost to Tooradin 52.
17 and under
The girls started the game well with a good first quarter and playing attacking netball. However they were unable to keep it up for the rest of the match and Tooradin proved too strong.
Scores: Devon Meadows 10 lost to Tooradin 34.
15 and under
The 15 and unders again played a strong game of netball. They put in place a lot of things that have been worked on at training. For the first three quarters there was only a goal or two in it but could not keep the pressure up in the last quarter.
Scores: Devon Meadows 13 lost to Tooradin 26.
Best on court: Kaila Battams.
