IT was mixed results for Pakenham Bowls Club in Peninsula District Ladies Bowling Association pennant games for round 13, on 31 January.

RESULTS

Pakenham (1) versus Karingal at Karingal.
T. Brown’s team 20-27, L. Stephenson’s team 5-53, W. Titcombe’s team 27-27, J. Thompson’s team 18-28.
A loss overall of 65 shots.
Pakenham (2) versus Karingal at Pakenham.
L. Mashado’s team 18-23, T. Harron’s team 25-22, P. Carlin’s team 25-10.
A win overall of 13 shots.
Pakenham (3) versus Mornington Civic at Mornington Civic.
B. Byrne’s team 23-23, C. Allen’s team 20-21.
A loss overall of one shot.

MIXED TRIPLES

Winners for the Mixed Triples on Thursday, 2 February were Norm Buckley’s team.
Runners-up were Peter Baxter’s team and best last game were Lyn Jenkin’s team.

DINNER IN JEOPARDY

This Friday, 10 February at 6pm, evening roast dinner and twilight bowls will be held.
However volunteers are desperately needed or the club has said this popular and successful social function will be cancelled in two weeks’ time.

BAREFOOT BOWLS

All are welcome for the Barefoot Bowls Competition and those who have not signed on already can still do so.
Flat shoes or socks or bare feet. No bowls required and no experience necessary.
