LANG LANG’S Mona Mynard celebrated her 90th birthday with more than 100 relatives and friends in the Lang Lang Hall on Saturday, 10 March.
Mrs Mynard turned 90 on Thursday, 1 March.
She has lived in the Catani and Lang Lang area since 1944 and before that lived with her parents at Bayles, where she worked as a baker with her parents Richard and Ella Hayward.
Mrs Mynard has been active in community affairs, including mothers’ clubs, the Country Women’s Association, Red Cross, bowls, and Senior Citizens throughout her life.
She still produces knitted dolls for children at the Windermere Child and Family Services Kids in Crisis program.
