By Brad Kingsbury
LANGWARRIN is looking ominous as it darted to the top of the MPNFL Nepean League ladder after handing a 167point belting to Red Hill on Saturday.

The Kangaroos are now favourites for backtoback pennants and look to have improved on last year’s stellar form.
Pearcedale opened it 2006 account with a tense fivepoint win over Crib Point.
The Panthers stayed with their more favoured opponents throughout the tight contest and then booted two lastquarter goals to hit the front and then take the game.
The Magpies frittered away opportunities at the end, booting six behinds in a row.
Better players for Pearcedale included Daniel Moss with three goals, together with Mathugh Vagg, Travis Reints and Dean Wagner.
Other winners in round two were Rosebud over Tyabb, Dromana over Sorrento and Frankston over Somerville.
IN Peninsula League, Mt Eliza downed Pines by 30 points, while Seaford fell over the line against lowly Hastings, despite boasting a starstudded side led by Anthony Agius, Jason Marsh and recently recruited key forward Oliver Trand.
Recruitladen Chelsea smashed Karingal by 97 points and took over top position on the ladder and early premiership favouritism.
Other victors in the second round included Frankston YCW over EdithvaleAspendale and Bonbeach, that upset Mornington by 34 points.
